1. Reservations & Payments
All bookings are subject to availability and these terms:
- A deposit of 25% is required to confirm most reservations.
- Full payment must be made 30 days before departure (or 45 days for international tours).
- We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and UPI payments.
- Prices may change until full payment is received.
Note: Some airlines or hotels may require full payment at the time of booking. We will notify you if this applies to your reservation.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation charges apply based on the notice period:
- More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the total cost
- 15–30 days before departure: 25% of the total cost
- 7–14 days before departure: 50% of the total cost
- Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the total cost
3. Travel Documents
You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary travel documents:
- Valid passport with at least 6 months validity for international travel
- Required visas for your destination(s)
- Vaccination certificates if applicable
- Travel insurance documents
Name Changes
- Domestic flights: ₹500–₹2,000 per change
- International flights: ₹2,000–₹5,000 per change
- Hotels and tours: fees vary by supplier
4. Changes by Us
While we strive to operate tours as advertised, we reserve the right to:
- Alter itineraries due to circumstances beyond our control
- Substitute hotels of similar standard if necessary
- Modify transportation arrangements
Force Majeure
We are not liable for disruptions caused by:
- Natural disasters
- Acts of war or terrorism
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Other events beyond reasonable control
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
- Baggage loss or delay
- Personal liability
Note: Some destinations require proof of travel insurance for entry.
6. Liability Limitations
Manali Travels acts as an intermediary between you and travel service providers:
- We are not liable for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the travel services
- We are not responsible for consequential or incidental damages
Health & Safety
Travelers are responsible for:
- Being medically fit to travel
- Following all health and safety guidelines
- Complying with local laws and customs
7. Special Requests
We will do our best to accommodate requests, but these cannot be guaranteed:
- Dietary requirements should be communicated at booking
- Room preferences are subject to availability
- Accessibility needs should be confirmed in advance
Group Bookings
For groups of 10 or more travelers:
- Higher deposit (typically 50%)
- Stricter cancellation policies
- Rooming lists required 45 days before departure
8. Dispute Resolution
- Attempt resolution through good faith negotiations
- If unresolved, mediation via the Indian Association of Tour Operators
- As a last resort, legal proceedings in Kullu courts, Himachal Pradesh
Governing Law : These terms are governed by Indian law, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
